Trip to Reagle Music Theater’s “Christmas Time”
We have excellent seats to Reagle’s famed Christmas spectacular! This is one Christmas extravaganza guaranteed to warm any heart with a cast of 200- all backed by a full live orchestra. Curtain is 12:00 pm. Previous registration required.
“The Vietnam War” Lecture Series
This 4 session course will present an overview of the Vietnam War including the 30-year span of time between 1945 and 1975 as well as the peace movement and domestic politics during the watershed year of 1968. Leo Sullivan holds a Master’s degree in American History from the University of Notre Dame. He is retired after a 35-year career in public education, including nine as a high school principal and 21 as a Superintendent of Schools.
Bob McCarthy Acoustic Guitar
A professional musician since the age of 15, Bob McCarthy is a songwriter, composer, guitarist, mandolinist, and vocalist who began his musical career in New York and Boston-Cambridge area coffeehouses and college concerts in the late 1960s. Bob has an easy presence which, combined with tasteful guitar work and a rich voice, makes him a captivating and extraordinary performer, drawing on many styles, including elements of folk, bluegrass, Celtic, Brazilian, gospel, jazz and rhythm and blues. Bob makes his Southgate debut this evening.
Trip to Massachusetts Symphony “Holiday Pops” Concert
A beloved Worcester tradition, this concert highlights the Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jorge Soto, performing classic symphonic works and favorite music of the holiday season. Previous registration required.
