Regatta Players Audition
Auditions for Regatta Players spring production “Over The River and Through the Woods” by Joe DiPietro take place in the Flanagan Theater. “Over the River…”is a warm-hearted, boisterously funny, and touching story about intergenerational relationships, deep familial love, and the inevitable little heartbreaks that occur as time passes and children grow. Production dates are in March.
Art Gallery Reception
Southgate presents the work of Lori Aberg and Jackie Stein. Lori Aberg is a representational artist who finds inspiration in and around her home. She works primarily within two mediums: charcoal drawing and watercolor painting. Lori holds a BS in Pharmacy, has studied art at the Worcester Art Museum as well as the NE School of Fine Art. Jackie Stein lives and works in Worcester. Picturesque landscapes, realistic still lifes and animal portraits make up a collection of work that focuses on contrasts of light, style or color. Jackie holds a BA and two Masters Degrees in Art Education. Refreshments will be served and music provided by classical guitarist Peter Clemente.
Vocalist Valeria Sneade with Pianist Jim Rice
Valerie Sneade is more than just an awardwinning singer. She’s an all around ENTERTAINER. If you’ve seen her perform, you’re probably already a fan. If you haven’t … well, you’re in for a real treat. We’re kicking off Dec. with some holiday favorites from Valerie and extraordinary pianist and vocalist Jim Rice. Don’t miss this funfilled show!

Mother and Child. The bond between parents and their children is very special, very personal, and yet universal. This relationship transcends language, different cultures, great distances and time itself. Art speaks to this bond so we can understand and share the connections and experience made between mothers and their children throughout our human history. Fathers are welcome too!
We feel fortunate to live in a community where the Residents are friendly and the staff greets us by name.
