Rescheduled from Dec. 2021, Men’s Breakfast welcomes Shrewsbury Police Chief Kevin Anderson. He began his career at the Shrewsbury Police Department as a Patrolman in 1994 and was quickly promoted through the ranks. In 2019 he assumed his most recent position of Detective Bureau Commanding Officer where he was second in command to a 64 employee police department in a town with almost 38k residents. Chief Anderson brings with him a valuable historical perspective and a deep understanding of modern day policing. His extensive training in crisis intervention and understanding the needs of special populations coupled with his vision for engaging the community through outreach and improved communication serves the residents of Shrewsbury well.

We continue rehearsals for the Southgate Chorus on Thursday afternoons through mid-June when we present our community concert! Our director is Curtis Smith who serves as director of Music for the First Congregational Church. Remember, you do not need a professional singing voice to join the ranks! Just have fun!

The Seven Hills Four Quartet is a sub quartet of the Worcester Men of Song. The Men of Song, was founded in 1949 and has been presenting four-part acapella close harmony singing throughout central Massachusetts ever since. The quartet was recently awarded “Most Improved Quartet” in the Patriot Di-vision in the 2021 Northeastern Division of the National Barbershop Harmony Society. Come enjoy the four fellas for an afternoon of refreshing springtime tunes!
