  • Trip to Reagle Music Theatre’s production “West Side Story”

    West Side Story explores forbidden love and the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds. Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and set in 1950s New York City, their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence, and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching, and relevant musical dramas in Broadway history.     Men’s Breakfast welcomes Terry Ingano with the Clinton Historical Society to speak on the Wachusetts Dam and Reservoir. Terry’s bio is as follows: I’m a career educator, 43 years

    in the Clinton Public Schools as a teacher, department chair, district curriculum director, and my last eight years as the superintendent of schools. I’ve been involved in the Clinton Historical Society for 42 years, often writing articles of historic interest in the local newspaper, the Item. Those articles have been compiled and put into three volumes of local history over the years, all for charity. I also wrote the illustrated history of Clinton in 1996. Retired now and enjoying my family and two grandsons.” All are welcome.

  • Summer Concert Series: The Wolverine Jazz Band

    Since 1995 the Wolverine Jazz Band has been entertaining lovers of Traditional Jazz all over Boston and New England. They are considered by many to be among the finest purveyors of Vintage Jazz on the East Coast. They also have a national following, having performed at numerous Jazz festivals across the country. Perhaps somewhat shockingly, these same seven musicians have managed to stay together as a group for over two decades!

  • Classical Pianist Malcom Halliday

    Join us in the theatre for long-time Southgate favorite, Malcolm Halliday!

    Malcolm performs in the United States, Europe and Mexico, both as a soloist and in collaboration with singers, instrumentalists and orchestra. An experienced concert presenter, Halliday was the Artistic Director of the Great Music Series in Provincetown, MA. More recently he was director of Arts on the Green, a concert series at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, MA where he served as Minister of Mu-sic for 28 years. Malcolm Halliday currently lives much of the year in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico where he continues an active performing and teaching career. He returns periodically to the U.S. to concertize and spend time at his lake home in Ashburnham, MA. Post-pandemic, he is planning to take on more concert work, as well as occasional substitute work as organists and/or choir director for New England houses of worship. In addition to solo piano recital work, Mr. Halliday also works with singers and instrumentalists in a wide range of collaborative concerts in both the U.S. and Mexico.

Certain foods seem to be good for our memory and learning, and preserving these precious abilities as we get older. There are those wonderful blueberries, but what else? It turns out that there are many other foods that are good for our cognitive health – come and learn!

    If you like the uplifting and soulful mu-sic of New Orleans you’ll love the sound of the New Black Eagle Jazz Band. The band has delighted audiences all over the world with their huge and eclectic repertoire of jazz from the 1920’s and 30’s. The group has a mature mastery of this great American music- from Louis Armstrong and Jelly Roll Morton to early Duke Ellington to Cole Porter; from blues to rags to gospel and popular songs of the era.
